Suzuki Other description

Up for auction is my custom built "Snowmobile Bike". It started life as a 1990 VX800 Suzuki. It still holds the VX800 Suzuki title and is 100% street legal in Ohio. The engine is an Arctic Cat Thundercat 900 triple snowmobile engine which is built by suzuki. It has around 180 horsepower and is very streetable. The transmission is the snowmobiles CVT belt drive, fully automatic...basically a scooter on steriods!  No shifting! Does not over heat, runs 180-190 degrees. This bike was built as a street bike and has very good street manners.
The wheels are Performance Machine polished aluminum Big Dog chopper wheels and had lots of machine work done to fit this bike. The front is a 21" and the rear is a 18"x12" with a 310mm tire. Front and rear are matching Vee Rubber tires and both are perfect with no flaws. The paint is PPG O-so-sexy tri coat and looks awsome. The frame and belt cover also was painted with PPG base/clear black. The swingarm was built by myself and is .250" wall 6061 aluminum. Motor has been rebuilt and I put all new AC water pump gaskets and seals just incase...did not need it just being anal I guess!
Everything on this custom bike is brand new and was finished just in time for Ohio Bike Week where I won first place best of show agianst some very stiff competition. It was put in Thunder Roads Ohio magazine the month of July 2013 and was the cover bike and calender/centerfold. So obviously this bike is super sweet being thunder roads had ALOT of bikes to choose from at Ohio Bike Week and they chose mine!
Every part of this bike was custom built by myself as Im a fabricator/machinist by trade. I never intended to part with this bike but I have other stuff going on right now. I can't stress enough how nice and one off this bike is...It gets so much attention everywhere it goes, and scary fast!
P.S The Yugo in the background is not for sale. Lol!   Thats my next build.

This is a NO RESERVE auction....High bid takes it!

I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time due to local sale!!!

No zero feedback bidders....I will delete your bid.

2013 Suzuki Hayabusa ABS Recall Expands to US

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

Suzuki Motor of America has recalled the 2013 Hayabusa because of a problem with its anti-lock brake system. A Hayabusa recall was previously announced for the Canadian market, and it was no surprise a similar recall was announced for the U.S., as the issue traces back to a single part supplier, affecting several models from multiple manufacturers. The Suzuki Hayabusa is just one of several models from multiple manufacturers affected by a manufacturing error by ABS part supplier Nissin.

Suzuki Pushes MotoGP Return Back to 2015

The good news is Suzuki revealed the first official images of its new MotoGP prototype racer. The bad news is the Japanese manufacturer announced it is delaying its MotoGP return for another year, now targeting a comeback for the 2015 season.
