Suzuki Other description

For sale is an ORIGINAL 1968 Suzuki T-500 Cobra motorcycle.  All paint is original factory paint.  As you can tell from the pictures, it is a very nice bike.  For anyone wanting a non restore Cobra, you probably won't find a better bike than this !  1968 miles.  Original suede seat cover, original paint, original emblems, original chrome, original mirror and original manual..... You get the picture!  Speaking of pictures, check out all of them for this bike, it is remarkable! Motorcycle is 45 years old and does have a few imperfections. The worst thing is a dent in the bottom right side muffler, not noticeable unless you look at it from the ground. One small ding in oil tank and a Very small ding in left side chrome tank insert. The tank has no dents and is still brill inside with NO rust or pitting. No disappointments. If you have any question please contact me at 434-945-0494.

/Seller reserves the right to close auction early as this bike is being sold locally also.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.

2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.
