1999 SUZUKI JR 50 NEEDS MINOR TLC BUT RUNS AND DRIVES WELL. CHAIN NEEDS TO BE TIGHTENED, THERE IS A SLIGHT WOBBLE ON THE REAR TIRE, CARBURETOR WILL NEED A FINAL CLEANING TO BE PERFECT, ITS MISSING THE CHOKE LEVER BUT YOU CAN STILL PULL IT BY HAND. MOTOR IS SOLID , TOP END AND TRANSMISSION ARE FINE. WITH A FEW MINOR REPAIRS YOU CAN HAVE IT READY FOR CHRISTMAS! IT DOES HAVE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR BUT ITS STILL A GOOD SOLID BIKE FOR ITS YEAR. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.

Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory

The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.
