This is a vintage Suzuki moped. 1981 Suzuki Fz50. A few thousand of these were made from 1978 to 1981. Very few are still out there. This 1 needs some t.l.c. but it does run very well and is very rideable. I bought this as a project, but have to let it go due to some unforseen financial challenges. Gotta take my hat off to the engineers at Suzuki...this moped is almost 34yrs old, and it still starts on the 1st kick!I know this scooter could be worth quite a bit more than I'm asking, but I need to sell it a.s.a.p.For someone who can put a hundred or so dollars into this moped, it could be a very valuable vintage moped.350.00 o.b.o. As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
