Suzuki Other description

Up for sale, a custom Ryca CS-1 Café Racer motorcycle completed last spring.

The donor bike was purchased in 2012 with approximately 9181 miles on it. The donor is a Suzuki S40, also known as LS650, also known as the Savage. I bought this bike and immediately proceeded to take it apart and make it into the bike you see here. Since completion, I have put about 184 miles on the bike.

The bike starts up immediately and runs great through all gears. There are no known mechanical issues with the bike. Comes with free and clear title.

Here are some more details about the bike:
1. Wheels -- front wheel is stock 19" and rear wheel re-laced from a 16" to a 18" rear wheel. The wheels are perfect -- no rust or dings.
2. Tires -- Dunlop K70 vintage tread. Tires are new and in perfect condition.
3. Fork -- lowered a couple inches and upgraded with progressive suspension springs and black fork boots.
4. Brakes -- new pads and upgraded hydraulic front brake line
5. Controls -- custom clip-on bars, stock right and left hand controls
6. Mirrors -- bar-end
7. Pipe -- titanium wrapped header, EMGO pipe
8. Carb -- re-jetted and K&N filter
9. Seat -- custom fiberglass one piece seat pan with padded seat cushion and rubber mounts to reduce vibration
10. Lighting -- stock headlight, rear unit uses all-in-one LED unit with integrated run, brake and turn signal functions
11. Tank -- stock tank was chopped and re-welded by professional welder to make it more streamlined and café like. Inside is flawless.

13. Paint -- professionally painted using Dupont paint and multiple coats of clear. Color is Volvo Vibrant copper metallic with black stripes.
14. Foot controls -- custom rearsets and bracket
15. Tach and speedo replaced with mini units and new custom mount

2013 Jordan Suzuki Livery Inspired by Air Jordan XX8 Sneakers

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Michael Jordan Motorsports revealed its racing livery for its 2013 AMA Superbike Championship Suzuki GSX-R1000 racebikes. The 2013 racebikes will sport a wavy blue camo pattern inspired by the new Nike Air Jordan XX8 sneaker. The team unveiled the new livery on the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower) in Chicago, where the team was founded and, more notably, where team owner Michael Jordan won six NBA championships with the Bulls.

Oh hi there Mobil!

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.

GSX-R600 long-termer update

Mon, 18 Oct 2010

When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits the Smoke very nicely, thanks.
