1974 Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo. The biggest 2-stroke triple Suzuki ever made. This bike starts right up and idles very well. I had the (3) carbs professionally rebuilt at Montgomery Motorcycles in San Clemente. It shifts well. All electronics including the fan, gages, lights, turn signals all work great. It needs front brakes and the tires are old - but they hold air very well. The rear brake works ok, probably could use a new brake shoe. So, I haven't driven it faster than about 30 mph since its so powerful it got a bit scary with lacking brakes. I have too many projects and don't see making time to finish the brakes and tires this year. Let me know if you have any questions. I can deliver the bike within about 50 miles of San Juan Capistrano, California for $100. This race is part of the eMotoRacing series, which runs in conjunction with AHRMA. The 96 volt student-built prototype racebike will compete in the eSuperSport class against a field of production based Brammo Empulses. The Bolt Team is no stranger to competition, as it has previous experience racing in the TTXGP series in 2012.

Fri, 13 Jun 2014In this diary entry, Voltcom Crescent Suzuki’s Eugene Laverty reflects on a busy three weeks that saw him visit Suzuki HQ in Hamamatsu in Japan, test the Suzuki MotoGP machine in Okayama and Phillip Island; and then race to a podium position at the Sepang World Superbike round in Malaysia. The past few weeks have been one hell of an adventure. The trip started out in Donington for the British round of the World Superbike Championship and from there I travelled directly to Japan for my debut test on Suzuki’s MotoGP prototype.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
