  • suzuki tl 1000 r v-twin superbikesuzuki tl 1000 r v-twin superbike (2001)
    This bike is a 2001 TL 1000R in very good condition.  It has 20,xxx miles, has a couple of scratches and rock chips; nothing big.  It does have a couple of long scratches on the tank that were there when I bought it, but the tank cover covers it up.  It has full Yoshimura exhaust (not bolt ons), LED signals (cheap ebay ones).  I do have the rear seat cowl and seat.  I have 2 tank bras a Second Look yellow one on it now and a factory Suzuki one with the TL logo on it, both look new.  It has Michelin Pilot tires on it with around 1000 - 1500 miles left on them.  The battery is 2 years old.  If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.  No free rides and no tire kickers.  No trades either; I have too many toys as it is.  I am selling it because I have only ridden it 3 or 4 times all year (my wife will not ride it, it is too uncomfortable for her and me).  Getting older and I want to get a Harley so we can ride in comfort.  If you want to look at it and hear it run, I will be more than happy to meet you as long as it is local.  The tag and inspection ran out in March so I won't ride far to meet you.  I will get a new inspection for the winning bidder.  I will not ship this either.  I will be willing to meet you an hour at the most (from 27006) to help you out with delivery.     Hey there I'm selling my 94 rf 900r and yes it had no title and the reason it dosnt have a title is because the guy I got it from dosnt seem to care to get it for me so I'm stuck now cuz I have a bike tht has no title tht I've been tryin to get from him for months now .I do have the sale receipt from when the owner bought it pre-owned in 2000 and I think there is a way to get the title wih that but I just don't got the time to mess wih it and I need the money for tires now .now about the bike its a 94 it will start but needs a fuel pump to stay runnin the fairings are pretty good considering its age it needs a windshield new tires and a clutch master cylinder all of wich isn't to expensive.also the bike has 43, zero miles on it but only has 10, 000 on a brand new oem suzuki engine .other than that the bike is in decent shape hate to get rid of it but I need the money if u r interested send me a message or text me at thanks for looking

    1974 Suzuki GT750 barn find project bike that I purchased in the summer of 2008 wanting to have another 74 GT750 again just like the one I owned and sold back in the '70s. I am the second owner of this bike.  I purchased the bike as a project bike not knowing what it may or may not need. I can't recall the exact dollar amount that I spent getting it to where it currently is, but if I was to guess I would say it was somewhere over $2,500 that I spent for new and used oem parts from Ebay and other sources to bring it back to what you see now as well as making it drivable. I can tell you that I put countless hours into replacing any part that didn't look acceptable or didn't look almost new, with the exception of the dent in the gas tank, the chip in the radiator cover and dent in the points cover. My goal was to initially make it look great, get it running to later fully restore it to make it look like new.  I completed two of those tasks: I got it running and made it look great.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win of the season, leading all 20 laps before a crowd of 56,828 fans at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider becomes the fourth different winner of  the season in the 450 class through six rounds. The news was less positive for last week’s winner Chad Reed.

John Hopkins Ready for Comeback

When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.

Suzuki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results

Suzuki reported a 13.1% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, but still managed a 17.8% increase in net sales from its motorcycle division. That may seem like a paradox, but the results can be explained by a more favorable exchange rate for the Japanese yen and by looking closer at where those sales decreases took place. The yen has turned around significantly over the last year and a half, vastly improving how foreign sales affect Suzuki’s bottom line.

MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
