Suzuki Other description

This bike was purchased by my dad as a project it has not been running for 2 years....but due health problems he will not be able to work on it so I am selling it for him. I have the free and clear title. I will tell you what we know about the bike and the rest will be up to you to find out.....first of all it does turn over but needs a battery. We used jumper cables off a 12v car battery to check  it out ....the starter button on the handle grips needs to be cleaned it would not always work every time you pushed it but it did spin the motor over we did not have a compression gage to check the compression but it did seem to be good ... We did not try to start it but when we was spinning it over but the motor it acted like it wanted  to start but because of the old gas plugs and old oil we did not try .

This bike is in decent shape some of the things we think it will need or we notice about it are: the seat has a spot on it that looks like a past repair, the front tire is in good shape lots of tread left but the rear one is about 50 to 60 % gone, on the center part there is a couple nicks that have been touched up looks good still but they are there, most of the body panels the paint is in very good condition ....except for the trunk lid it has some spider cracking form the sun and should be repainted, all the lights and turn signals seem to be working correctly.

We really think that because it has not run for over 2 years the  fuel  should be drained, the carbs removed and cleaned and reset, oil and filter changed and new plugs.....once this is done we think you would have a very nice bike  but we have no way of knowing if this is all you will have to do but from what we can tell it looks like it ......

We  are selling the bike AS IS not running at this time and with NO RESEVER it will be sold to the last bidder !!!! we will help some one load the bike but shipping is the buyer responsibly we have used U-Ship in the past and have found that it works very good ...

Thank you for looking and Good Luck.....I am sure the winner will be very happy !!!!!

John Reynolds on the latest Gixers, BSB and Loose Women

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

When John Reynolds was pushing me hard in the late nineties for BSB titles he was always polite and would happily stop to chew the fat and talk about the weather. But that was the limit of our friendship as he never wanted to like rivals too much, just in case it affected his competitive edge. These days, he has no great desire to barge me off the track at Redgate or Cascades so when our paths cross we happily spend time sorting out the problems of the world.

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
