The water-cooled, electronic fuel injected 400cc DOHC 4-valve engine is designed to produce broad, usable power with smooth, operation and low maintenance. The belt-drive CVT transmission is fully automatic meaning you don't have to clutch and shift to get going or to speed up. The large windshield keeps you comfortable in the morning chill and at highway speeds. The large, 62 liter under-seat storage compartment will swallow two full face helmets and the convenient front glovebox has an electrical accessory outlet, plus there are two additional storage compartments above the glovebox. Dual hydraulic disc brakes up front provide great braking control and the rear suspension features a single shock with 7 way adjustable preload. Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test

To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.

Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area

Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.
