Up for sale is a low mileage (2200) 2006 Suzuki S40. This is a single cylinder cruiser type bike. It is 650 cc's. Great for the 1st time rider or person who is vertically challenged. It's comparable to a Honda Rebel or Yamaha Virago 250 in size yet has more horse power and get up and go. Automatic start; four way flashers; flash to pass headlamp switch; It weighs 380 lbs and has a seat height of 28". Achieves roughly 60 mis per gallon. It is belt driven. Colorado title in my name. It does have some scratches/scrapes on it, but it runs well. Tires are in good shape. Everything works on it. I do not have the tools for it or the owner's manual. $2150 or best offer. Suzuki Forecasts 9% Increase in North American Sales in 2011-2012 Fiscal Year

Suzuki Motor Corporation released its forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2012, predicting a 9.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle unit sales including a 9.0% increase in the North American market. The fiscal forecast, delayed from Suzuki’s previous quarterly report in May because of the uncertainty caused by the March 11 earthquake, paints a positive picture for the current fiscal year. Suzuki forecasts sales of about 55,000 units in North America, an increase from about 50,000 units sold the previous fiscal year.

Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
