2005 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, For Sale! One owner 2005 Suzuki Vstrom DL1000 with Givi Hard cases, Grip heaters, hand guards, Gel seat, aftermarket and stock windshields, and Heated Coat with thermostat. Title in Hand. 50K miles. The oil was just changed 500 miles ago and tires are like new. This bike is bullet proof and will be reliable for a long time to come. I am selling this bike for my father in law who has some health issues that are preventing him from riding, his loss is your gain. This bike has plenty of passing power and can still get around 40mpg. You would not believe how much stuff can be packed on this bike! We have taken many camping trips and Never had an issue with it. Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
