Suzuki Other description

If you need reliable, cheap, and comfortable transportation (or if this is your 1st motorcycle), then keep reading. I purchased this SV650S on May 14th, 2012. For those of you quick with math, you ll realize that was just a bit over 3 months ago. I bought this bike for 1 reason...for a weeklong motorcycle trip with me and a couple of friends. In early August, we threw the bikes in the back of my truck and drove up to a friends house in Kernersville, North Carolina. From there, we unloaded the bikes and embarked on a 2,000 mi round trip...winding through the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, up through Central Pennsylvania and NY, through Niagra Falls, and along Lake Ontario to Canada...and back. The bike performed flawlessly. Before leaving I took it to Jupiter Cycles for a full checkup. A few days (and $700 later), they had changed all the fluids (brake, radiator, oil, and front shock)...adjusted the valves...checked the brakes, cables and charging system and battery...they even changed the spark plugs. DJ gave it a clean bill of health and I did not have 1 single problem with it the entire trip. Like I said, it s a reliable bike. Cheap too. It averaged 48.7mis per gallon the entire trip. And you don t have to put the expensive 93 octane gas in either. It runs just fine on 87. Not only that, it was surprisingly comfortable (even after a few ten hour days in the saddle, I wasn t sore the next day). Now, this isn t a beauty queen. The previous owner dropped it on both sides at low speeds. As you can see from the images, there are scrapes on both sides of the front fairing. I ve seen front fairings on ebay for anywhere from $100-$200. Throw 1 on and this bike will look just like it s never been dropped. Other, than that, there is nothing mechanically or cosmetically wrong with this motorcycle. So...why am I selling it? Well, I was going to rent a bike, but figured it would be cheaper for me to buy 1 and then sell it when

We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.

When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
