2004 SUZUKI DL1000 V-Strom, This big Suzuki adventure sport V-Strom 1000 is a 'do it all' bike that can handle all day rides on blacktop and narly gravel backroad jaunts with ease which is handy if you only want to park one motorcycle in your garage. Runs out great with a Power Commander programmer and fresh chain and sprockets with slightly higher than stock gearing. It also has all braided steel brake and hydraulic clutch lines. The fully adjustable Madstad wisdshield mount along with the Givi shield and Laminar Lip allows you to control the wind blast to your liking. The front turn signals have been replaced with smaller units and the license plate mount contains a handy lockable compartment for registration and insurance papers. Oh yes there is also a centerstand for chain and tire maintenence. If you have been looking for a V-Strom you should check this one out as we don't see many used ones come in on trade.

Suzuki is the latest company to trickle out bits of info about its upcoming new model, in this case, numerous teaser images of what looks to be the 2012 V-Strom. The biggest unknown at this point is what Suzuki has done to the old DL650’s V-Twin engine.

Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return

As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
