2003 Suzuki Katana 600, 2003 SUZUKI Katana 600 - This Katana is being sold here as a consigment. the seller has added an aftermarket exhaust, lowering links, integrated taillight, chrome windscreen, and had the bike painted a nice metallic blue. (this was due to some light body damage done to the fairing) it was not involved in any significant accidents. if you are not familiar with Katanas, you will find them very comfortable, good handling, brakes, and power in a nice package without the high insurance rates of modern day sportbikes. be sure to stop down and check it out. as with all bikes sold here, Karns Performance includes FREE lifetime State inspections as long as you own the bike (this does NOT include parts and labor needed to pass)

Suzuki made headlines earlier this week when its American subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 and announced it is quitting the automobile business to focus on motorcycles and its marine operations. American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. Apparently, the American motto of “bigger is better” has struck a chord with someone in China, of all places. This giant beast of a motorcycle measures over 14 feet long and almost eight feet tall, and was built by a Chinese sewage plant worker in his spare time. The motorcycle is so big, it needs outriggers to make sure it doesn’t tip over.

Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
