2002 suzuki drz 400s/sm built as a 2006 sm. Race plastics. Dual rs4 exhaust. Warp nine rims. Rmz450 upgraded front suspention. Clear enduro oversized tank. Upgraded oversized rotors, front and rear. Its a 2006 e motor and carb. (39mm). The e model motor has more horsepower and has hot cams. L.E.D. front and rear blinkers and tail light. Has 120 and 150 rear tires Dunlop. triple compound. it has been sitting in garage for about six months. The bike runs on choke, but does not run right once you take it off choke. It needs to have the carb. cleaned and also it needs to have a front master cylinder on the handlebar for the front brake because it leaks. $3000. please call or text Jeff. serious buyers only. or possible trade/partial for nice running car or truck.

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.

Land Speed Record Holder Bill Warner Dies Chasing 300 MPH Record

Land speed motorcycle racer Bill Warner succumbed to injuries suffered in a 285 mph crash at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. The 44-year-old from Wimauma, Fla., reportedly lost control of his modified turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa while attempting to reach a speed of 300 mph. Warner reportedly began veering to his right during one high-speed run on the base’s runway after clocking 285 mph.

Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer

The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.
