The rear wheel is on the bike, unable to upload a new photo at this time.For sale in as is condition is a 2001 Suzuki JR 80. It is a air cooled, oil injected 2-stroke, with 5 gear and clutch.The bike runs but does need some work and TLC. It has been sitting for several months or so. The rear plastic fender is a little cracked but all there. I cleaned the carb and the gas tank, put fresh fuel and plug in and it started right up. The motor is strong and has great compression.Here are the concernsI was going to replace the chain and sprockets. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
