Strong runner, very light and maneuverable, Extremely low (25") solo seat. Belt drive, spoke wheels, 5 speed, electric start, Disc Brake. Great bike for beginners and experienced riders. Vertically challenged will love the low seat height. Currently has 13,800 miles. NYS safety inspected in June 2016. Brakes, Continental tires in good condition. Metallic Graphite paint. Custom bobber side-mount tail light with hi-visibility LED rear turn signals Bobber --style strutted flat fender Solo Sprung Bobber seat or solo padded seat available. Custom "suicide shifter" (non-functional; easily removed) Blacked-out engine cases Diamond plate covers, Forward Controls Wrapped extended headpipe. Custom "throaty" exhaust Considerable chrome and diamond-plate Could be modified for "two-up" seating. Have all the parts to return to stock. Began life as a 1999 Suzuki S40 Savage. Single cylinder 650 CC Thumper. This is a very simplistic and safe custom-build. There were no frame or suspension modifications. Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Intermot 2012: Updated Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive Introduced in Cologne
Wed, 03 Oct 2012Suzuki introduced an updated Burgman 650 scooter at the 2012 Intermot show, refining the maxi-scooter’s styling and giving a boost in fuel economy. The 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 is powered by a 638cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, the same powerplant used when the scooter first debuted in 2002. Though the engine is essentially the same, Suzuki claims the 2013 Burgman 650 uses 15% less fuel than the previous model due to a refined transmission system and reduced losses from friction.
