Suzuki Other description

1999 Suzuki Katana 600, LOTS OF PEP AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE!!!! - Beyond its dual headlights and sleek, wind-tunnel designed bodywork, the 1999 Katana 600 offers a renowned combination of sport-bike performance and sport-touring comfort. The Katana 600 has a 16-valve engine derived from the original, legendary GSX-R. It has a direct air intake system and Slingshot carburetors for crisp, precise throttle response. And, thanks to the Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACSTM), which combines air and oil cooling, its engine is lighter and more compact than most conventional liquid-cooled engines, and dissipates heat with maximum efficiency so you can run hard and strong all day long.

Philippine Superbike Champion in Fatal Accident

Thu, 19 May 2011

Four-time Philippines national superbike champion Maico Greg Buncio has succumbed to injuries suffered in a high speed crash May 14 in a qualifying session at the Clark Speedway Racing Circuit. According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the 22-year-old Suzuki factory racer high-sided after his GSX-R600 ran over some debris on the track. Maico reportedly rolled into an unfinished barrier and was pierced by a protruding steel bar.

Old boys and proper bikes at the Spa Classic 2012.

Mon, 09 Jul 2012

If you miss seeing factory two stroke racing machinery being ridden properly then you should consider a trip to the Spa classic event in 2013. I was the lucky recipient of an invitation to ride there last week and had a blast riding some tasty kit from the past. I went well at Spa in 250cc GPs  but the circuit scared me on the 500s.

Natural Habitats

Sat, 26 Jan 2013

SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home.    Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
