Its got the long, lean styling of Suzuki's larger cruisers that makes people turn their heads. And it's got a pricetag that makes everyone smile! If you're new to motorcycling, you'll find the GZ250 is the bike you've been looking for. Weighing only 302 pounds and with a seat height less than 27 inches, the GZ250 provides riders of all skill levels with exceptional maneuverability. At the same time, its extended, 57-inch wheelbase helps the GZ250 provide enough room for taller riders to stretch out. For 1999, Suzuki has set a brand new standard in entry-level motorcycles. Glistening with chrome, featuring custom touches from a buttoned-down seat to flared fenders, the all-new GZ250 is a world apart.

James Stewart and the Joe Gibbs Racing MX (JGRMX) Yamaha racing team have agreed to cut ties, ending their multi-year contract after a single AMA Supercross season. Stewart almost immediately signed a new multi-year deal with Yoshimura Suzuki to compete in both the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships. Stewart had a promising start to the season with JGRMX but wasn’t as competitive as eventual champion Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey.

Who To Watch In AMA Pro SuperSport

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

America’s road racing champions of tomorrow are racing in AMA Pro SuperSport today, and their season kicks off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway. With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
