'96 Suzuki Savage Custom S-40

This custom 652cc single cylinder "Bobber" with 5-speed transmission has the following new parts:

Battery, tires, tubes, seat, front disc. brake pads, handle bar and grips, Model "A" tail lite, alum. rear fender, side license plate holder, rear axle, and billet alum. front and rear directional.  Custom drag pipe.

Service includes: New spark plug, oil change, oil filter, and carb tune-up.

Fresh PPG base coat/clear coat black paint, and pin stripping by: "No Coast Customs"

I have stock front fender included.

Built from well owned, never laid down bike.

Buyer to pay a $500.00 dollar non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end using PayPal.  PayPal is for the deposit only.  Balance to paid to seller Within 7 days of auction end.  Accepted forms of payment on the balance are Cash at time of pickup or Cashiers check from US bank.  All funds must be converted to cash in hand of my account before vehicle well be released to buyer.

Buyer is responsible for all arrangements and cost of pickup or shipping of vehicle.  Vehicle is to be picked up at my location in Carson City, Nevada.  Vehicle will be stored inside for period of two weeks after sale, to give buyer time to arrange shipping or pick-up.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer

The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.

2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results

James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
