I have a 1991 Suzuki GS500E. Less than 6k original miles. Runs like a top. I've been through it and rebuilt the carbs, changed the oil, etc. Has a couple little dings and dents from things falling on it during storage. Nothing bad. Sweet little around town learning bike. Suzuki GSX-R1000 Sportbike Gets New VVT System
Tue, 29 Jan 2019Suzuki has adopted the SR-VVT (Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing) system on the 2017 GSX-R1000. A centrifugal drive system is integrated into the intake gear and adjacent guide plate. It features 12 steel balls and slant grooves to rotate and synchronize the intake valve at a predetermined RPM for increased power at high RPMs.

But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
