Suzuki RG500 race bike for sale. The engine needs a rebuild. Needs a few parts like silencers for the top pipes and a general look over. Upper pipes are modified stock units. Needs to have bodywork mounted, CDI, coils and power valve controller mounted properly. Comes with the stock rear wheel. Bike is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Shipping is NOT free. The cost of crating and shipping to be covered by the buyer. Sold as is, no returns. Ultra rare and collectible bike for a decent price.

Elena Myers First Woman to Win at Daytona

Elena Myers made history once again, winning the second of two AMA Supersport races at Daytona International Speedway. The win was Myers’ second professional AMA victory and gives her the distinction of being the first female racer to ever win a professional motorsports race at the famed Daytona circuit. The SuzukiScoopFans M4 Suzuki rider became the first woman to win an AMA race, taking an AMA Supersport race at Infineon Raceway in 2010.

Suzuki Celebrating 50 Years In USA At Indy MotoGP

August 16, 2013 will mark the start of the Indianapolis MotoGP weekend. It also marks Suzuki’s 50th anniversary in the USA, and to celebrate the company is going all-out during race weekend. Suzuki’s 50th Anniversary event will take place in the Suzuki Fan Paddock at Turn 2, a prominent position trackside, and will be the largest customer display by any manufacturer at this year’s Indianapolis MotoGP race weekend.

Dropped Suzuki Dealerships Represented Only 2.5% of Retail Sales

American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.
