Suzuki Other description

Up for sale is a custom Suzuki RE5 rotary Wankel Cafe Racer.Keep in mind they only made a wankel rotary engine bike for two years and suzuki is the only one, there where 6300 made only 2800 of this year imported to the USA and less then 900 are still on the road today, this is a rotary engine bike just like the mazda rx7 engine. This bike has only 7000 miles on it and was purchased from a good friend of mine that had it sitting in his shop for 20+ years. This bike is in good shape for its age and runs descent but can use a good tuneup.

-The dash is custom made for this bike with the same features the stock cluster but does not look like a big tool box.
-All fluids has been changed.
-Carb cleaned out.
-All of the lights work on the motorcycle.
-The tank has been cleaned out but still has a small amount of surface rust in it and a few small dings.
-The seat pan is made from mild steel and was powder coated chrome it can be removed with two allen bolts.
-The brake light has a down light for the plate.
-The stock air box was removed and I rotated the intake manifold 90 degrees and welded it up to install a pod filter.
-The battery is brand new.
-The tires are not in the greatest shape so need to be replaced.
-The front brake master cylinder was rebuilt but the lines need to be blown out.
This is the only suzuki re5 cafe racer I know of dont be like all the rest and settle for a stock honda with a stamped out set pan.

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.
