Great Antique Machine in very good condition with only 6175 miles one rider! Fast 2 stroke water cooled triple speed machine! Carbs cleaned, new battery, new NGK plugs, fresh oil change, Points and condensers on order and will be installed before pick up. Tires are original and well aged...has some blemishes associated with a bike this age but nothing serious, great looking bike with some light oxidizing and a few scratches but over all a very nice machine....lockset for seat is missing...I have original mirrors in good shape, just not on machine...also have a back rest to go with...Tank has been cleaned as well as petcock, petcock rebuild kit also on order and will be installed before sale completion....great running vintage machine ready for your collection, or daily rider! $500 down at auctions end with balance due within seven days....I will accept a check but it must clear before end of transaction... Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory
Tue, 06 Nov 2012The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.
Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
