Suzuki Other description

These bikes don't come up for sale very often so here is your chance to own a stunning Suzuki Cavalcade LX gv1400. This bike is a 2 owner and has been garage kept in controlled temperature setting since new. With a little over 63,000 babied miles this bike is just getting broken in. The list of options on this bike are just too long to list but they do include air ride suspension, 2-tone flawless paint, cruise control, AM/FM stereo, passenger controlled air lumbar and seat for optimal comfort on those long rides, passenger controls for stereo, CB and intercom systems. Loads of shiny chrome, auxiliary lighting and a ton of locking storage. Also included is the factory owners manual, (3) factory "Calvacade" insignia travel bags, a factory "Calvacade" insignia helmet and a drivers backrest. The seat is in like-new condition, the bike has zero rust and no scratches. The bike is in stunning condition for a bike of its age yet has a classic look of a bike 20 years newer. This bike was way ahead of its time and the Goldwing could not compete with the amenities the Cavalcade had to offer as standard equipment. The motor is very strong with instant power when needed and the ride is smooth and very comfortable. Why spend $40,000-$50,000 for a new Tourer when you can spend just a fraction of the price for this beautiful and classic motorcycle. Bid with confidence on this one. Fly in and ride home! (Buyer responsible for all pickup or shipping costs) ***NOTE - ANY BIDDER WITH LESS THAN 10 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS MUST CONTACT THE SELLER PRIOR TO PURCHASING THIS MOTORCYCLE*** ***NOTE*** the cracked plastic on right side compartment on the fairing is just the map holder door but can replaced for under $20 at cade king dot com, in the world of GPS there really was no need to replace. Also the left side compartment door on the fairing is complete and comes with the bike, the lock just needed to be replaced for that compartment door and has since been replaced.*** This bike is also being advertised locally therefore this auction may end at any time if the bike does sell through the local advertising.

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

Suzuki Concludes MotoGP Test At Phillip Island

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The Suzuki MotoGP team concluded its three-day test at Phillip Island in Australia today after rain and less-than-perfect track conditions hampered much of the progress the riders and technicians hoped to make. Test rider Randy De Puniet was joined by Voltcom Crescent Suzuki World Superbike rider Eugene Laverty for the first two days; unfortunately suffering a crash early on the first day due to the slippery and damp conditions. However the Irishman was able to complete 37 laps yesterday despite inclement weather that halted much of the testing on every day; and which included a large amount of geese on the circuit obstructing every session.

Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
