Suzuki Intruder description

2004 Suzuki Intruder Volusia 800 (VL800), Take one look at the Volusias styling and youll see an incredible fusion of retro style and classic cruiser design. It has a wide tank, flared fenders and traditional spoked wheels with chromed rims. The seat has deep padding and leather-grain embossing. Show-quality chrome sparkles everywhere, and its painted with four color coats plus a clear coat for a deep, rich finish. This is a bike designed to turn heads. But theres a lot more to the Volusia than styling. It takes traditional design and gives it a high-energy charge of contemporary performance. Its liquid-cooled 45-degree powerplant produces a load of torque, enough to make your stomach flip every time you twist the throttle. Its matched to a slick-shifting five-speed transmission with ratios ideally chosen for quick acceleration around town and smooth cruising on the highway. Best of all, the Volusia combines style, performance and comfort all in one. Its long, low chassis helps produce a spacious riding position. The engine uses offset crankpins and shaft drive for smooth operation. And sleek telescopic forks and a progressive single-shock rear suspension system combine to provide a plush, supple ride. Put it all together and youll find you can kick back and cruise the open highway hour after hour in total comfort. The Volusia also invites you to personalize it exactly to your taste and needs. Choose from a variety of Genuine Suzuki Accessories, including everything from leather saddlebags to chrome front and rear fender trim. The 2003 Volusia. Tradition never looked so good.
