Suzuki Intruder description
This bike is in EXCELLENT condition with no problems, and
has LESS than 15K miles on it. I've babied this Suzuki VS1400 Intruder; and it's always been kept in the garage. Last year, I spent $1,000 to have the front end raked out with extended forks, mini ape-hangar handlebars, saddle bags, and semi-loud pipes. This spring, I spent $700 at Prattville PowerSports having a complete tune up, new starter, and carburetor rebuilt. The only issue this bike has is a couple of dents on the gas tank (you can see in the photos), but there's no rust on the dents. I bought it that way 5 years ago and just never got around to fixing them. This year, I bought a gallon of auto-body filler ("bondo"), but since I've never done any "body work," I was too chicken to try to fill the small dents, then give it a new paint job. I'll give you the new gallon of filler and wish you luck. :^D The wife says I have to sell it. I can part with it for $2,550 (which is under the KBB retail price) You can pick it up at my home in Prattville (N.W. side; near the High School), or I can meet you in a public place somewhere in Prattville or Millbrook. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
