Hello,
Our 2003 Suzuki Intruder 800 VS motorcycle is up for auction. The bike is in good running condition and has a new battery. The bike has been reliable and starts every time. We have kept bike in garage while we have owned it. It has a clear Nevada title. Please note, we are not mechanics but will try to answer any questions. The bike was inspected at a bike shop last year and no issues were found at that time. Bike includes saddle bag, repair/maintenance guide, and tool kit. This bike will be sold AS IS and will be local pick up only. We will ask for an immediate deposit of $500 thru Paypal within 24 hours of auction close. The remainder in cash in person. Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory
Tue, 06 Nov 2012The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.
Suzuki Reports 2011-2012 Results
Thu, 10 May 2012Suzuki declared a loss of 2.4 billion yen (US$30.0 million) from its motorcycle division over the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. Though still a loss, it’s an improvement on the loss of 10.8 billion yen reported the previous year. Suzuki attributes the loss to an appreciating yen and the financial impact from heavy flooding in Thailand.

Mon, 14 Jan 2013Justin Barcia led all 20 laps to earn his first career victory in the 450cc class of the AMA Supercross Championship. The Team Honda Muscle Milk rider took the holeshot and never looked back to take his maiden win in front of 50,109 fans at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. “I can’t tell you how excited I am right now,” says Barcia.
