Suzuki Intruder description

You are bidding on a very nice, very clean running 2003 Suzuki Intruder Volusia 800cc motorcycle. This is a single owner bike who purchased it with only 1 mile on it, 13 years later there are only 11,280 (less then 900 miles a year). It has been garage kept and has never seen the rain. The bike has a costume paint job that was done about two years ago. The paint is a black base with a beautiful gold pearl metallic clear coat. The bike has an aftermarket Cobra exhaust, paint black with high temperature exhaust paint, with a matching Cobra Jet Kit (part# 92-3267 Stage 1). The bike has a newer set of tires on it which is only the second set its has had since original purchase. It also comes equipped with aftermarket foot running boards and additional running lights. All the original parts and lights will be included also, along with saddle bags and sissy bar as seen in pictures. This will make someone an amazing ride.

There are only a few minor items to point out which all can be seen in the pictures: a scratch on both sides of front fender by the front forks, a run in the clear coat on single side of rear fender (which saddle bags would cover), a scuff on lower exhaust pipe, a couple white marks on seat, and bolt holes from aftermarket lights on the crash bar (which could be plugged or new lights added).

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. During the eighth annual Roadracing World Action Fund (RWAF) at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, Team M4 Hammer GEICO Suzuki rider Chris Ulrich felled every existing record for a two-up track riding charity event During the course of the two-day event Ulrich, on his GEICO Suzuki GSX-R1000, carried 71 passengers around the Speedway 213 times for a total of 489.9 miles. This beats previous RWAF records for most two-up rides and also sets new fund-raiser records for most laps completed in one day with a passenger (114) and over two days (213), plus the most miles ridden in one day with a passenger (262.2 vs. 248.4) and over two days (489.9 vs. 432.2 miles).
