Suzuki Intruder description

2003 Suzuki Intruder 1500, 45 V-twin, SOHC, 6-valves with hydraulic lifters, 1462 cc, twin offset crank pins and shaft drive for vibration free cruising. Compression Ratio: 8.5:1. Rear Suspension: Link-type Mono-shock, oil damped, 5-way adjustable with spring preload. Overall Length: 99.4 in. Seat Height: 27.6 in. Wheelbase: 66.9 in. Ground Clearance: 5.7 in. Dry Weight: 659 lbs. Brakes Front: Dual hydraulic disc. Brakes Rear: Single hydraulic disc. Tires Front: 150/80-16. Tires Rear: 180/70-15. Fuel Tank Capacity: 4.0 gal. I bought this new in '03 and I'm the only one who's ever ridden it. It has 20820 miles on it. I changed the oil, filter and differential fluid at 301, 592 and 1013 miles, then every 1000 to 2000 miles thereafter. The first oil change was with break-in oil, then I moved to synthetic motorcycle oil, and then to Amsoil V-twin full synthetic motorcycle oil. I have all of the service records. Other services performed are: at 9977 miles and again at 16810 miles I changed the spark plugs and air filter. I had Pro Caliber Motorsports in Vancouver put new Pirelli tires on it at 13005 miles because the rear tire had picked up a nail. It turns out that the new tires make this long chassis cruiser handle like a bike half its size. Finally, I replaced the battery at 19276 miles just because it was 8 years old. I'm selling it the way I rode it, including: full windshield with lowers, Suzuki leather pouch mounted behind the windshield, highway light bar, tall back rest, chrome luggage rack, a nearly new Nelson-Rigg Riggpak model CTB-950 King Tourer Luggage/Seat Bag with roll bag attached to the top and several rain/covering unused accessories, new in package front and rear brake pads for when you might need them, a float charger plug-in attachment for those long rainy winters, the Suzuki service manual and a matching gray and silver helmet size XXL. The radiator you see in the photos between the forks is an engine oil cooler. Of course it has always been kept in the garage and everything on it works the way it was designed to. Please call with questions or to see and ride it. 360-258-6383 $4,950.00 3602586383
