Suzuki Hayabusa description

Up for bid is a professionally built tricked out, very fast, authentic street busa with no detail over looked. Built at  www.ghettocyclecenter.com. I am selling it because I no longer have time to ride the bike. It is hard for me to let this one go but what good is a toy if you hardly ever get to play with it. When I built this bike I set out to build a busa that would run on pump fuel, get good mileage, be completely street able.......around town and on long trips, look very classy, and runs like hell. I can honestly say this bike does all of this with ease. I am the fourth owner of this busa, It has always been adult owned and cared for, it has never been wrecked or damaged. The bike has 15,400 miles on the odometer, but the engine was rebuilt completely at 12,000 miles when the 1397 big bore kit was installed. Most of the mods were performed on the entire bike at 12,000 miles, so everything is very fresh. The list of mods includes.
Chassis:
• Two panel kits One custom Viper Green the other Factory Candy Red ( Like having two bikes)
• 2-6 inch adjustable swing arm, fully polished, box mod, under braced
• Chrome wheels
• braided rear brake line
• LED integrated turn signal taillight
• Tobin custom lowered seat and rear seat
• second look tank bra
• custom handle bar clamp
• throttlemeister cruise control
• zero gravity double bubble dark smoked windscreen
• mirror block offs
• tether cord kill switch
• adjustable billet kickstand
• soupy adjustable lowering links
• schnitz racing front strap
• 2003 busa front forks (I wanted the later model gold colored forks)
• EK 530 DRZ chain
• Shinko tires front and back
• speedometer calibrator
• Complete RPM activated or manual MPS air shifter with on board compressor, the bike will shift itself at 10,400 rpm or you can manual activate the air shifter with the horn button.....this does not mess with the drivability, the bike can still be foot shifted when driving regular just like a stock busa
• Spencer air shifter bracket
• 04 busa slave cylinder (newer design with rubber boot on the back....lasts much longer)
• Custom aluminum under tail section/battery tray
Engine:
• Brock Hindle Generation 3 exhaust
• MPS fast mixture controller
• small air box mod
• Emissions block offs
• BMC filter
• two intake cam mod
• adjustable cam sprockets
• completely ported and polished head......intake ports, exhaust ports, polished chambers and piston heads
• carpenter valve springs
• 84mm bored cylinders (1397cc)
• 12:1 wiseco pistons
• fast by gast back cut tranny
• Brock Davidson billet shift shafts
• 2002 busa shift forks (stronger than the older ones)
• Upgraded starter and gear protector
• Engine was rebuilt at 12,000 miles when doing the big bore kit.......we replaced the main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, cam chain, valve seals, and all gaskets
• complete drag bike direct fuel system....consisting of........fuel pump that will handle up to 400hp, DBD fuel rail, aeromotive adjustable fuel regulator, larger fuel lines everywhere
• pair valve mod
• slave cylinder support
• carpenter clutch springs
• 1 piece inner clutch hub
• NOS dual nozzle dry nitrous kit, currently has 65 hp jets installed
• schnitz progressive controller for the nitrous system

I have over $20,000 invested in this bike not counting any labor.......like I said, this busa has it all. The bike is very easy to race and is very consistent..........the air shifter activates itself at 10,400rpm, and with the longer swing arm it stays down good............ if you do use the nitrous, it is automatic as well...........you flip one toggle switch to arm it before you race and that is it........as soon as you pin the throttle it starts the NOS progressive controller which gradually ramps the NOS on at a controllable level.......the controller is fully adjustable.
I want to emphasis that the bike cruises as easy as it races, it gets 40 miles per gallon on fuel mileage, runs smooth and cool, has a throttlemeister cruise control system, and gets tons of looks everywhere it goes. This bike is a blast to drive. You can be happy going on a trip with this bike, taking it to a bike show, or to the race track........it is truly an all around bike. I am a major busa fan and have been for many years; I am also very picky with my stuff and require everything to be perfect, you can believe me when I tell you that this bike is done professionally and proper.

Dropped Suzuki Dealerships Represented Only 2.5% of Retail Sales

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.
