Mon, 26 May 2014Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Tue, 02 Apr 2013American Suzuki Motor Corporation is officially no more, with the company’s operating assets transferred to the newly-formed Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. on March 31, 2013. The new company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation, will be the sole distributor of Suzuki motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, marine engines and automotive parts for the continental U.S.
Suzuki Reports Q2 2013-2014 Sales Results
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Suzuki reported a 22.9% increase in net sales from motorcycles for the six month period ended Sept. 30, 2013, despite a 10.3% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the same period. According to Suzuki’s second quarter financial report, the Japanese manufacturer sold 1.056 million motorcycles in the first half of the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
