Suzuki Hayabusa tech info
Suzuki Hayabusa description
The time has come to part ways with my bike. The bike is in very good condition. I am a mechanic by trade. I have always kept up with the maintenance on this bike. Oil changes every 1500 miles. It is ready to ride and needs nothing but a new owner. The bike is stock except for a few parts.
Just installed a new rear tire 500 miles ago. Shinko 200/50 zr17 Has a Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen. Has a custom white and blue led light kit that work independently from each other with a wireless remote for each providing strobe, flashing, fade and steady on with different brightness levels. Also installed a new Barnett performance clutch kit 800 miles ago that includes new steel plates, friction disks and upgraded clutch springs. I mainly used the bike to drive back and forth to work which was around 100 miles a day. The bike currently has just under 29k miles on it. Contact me if you have any questions or would like to come take a look at it. No joy rides without cash in hand. Located in Conroe TX. Must pick it up in person. |

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
Get down on your knees and play
Thu, 09 Sep 2010This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
