Suzuki Hayabusa description

This is a NO RESERVE auction for the fastest and hottest color that the engineers of Suzuki have created for their line of motorcycles...ever!!!  Highest bidder WINS.  The bike has low mileage on it, approximately 8,250 miles, and has been garage kept since I purchased it. The bike is subject to higher mileage than indicated, as it is still being ridden until sold. Some of the features on the bike are as follows:

·        Performance Machine chromed "Torque" wheels

·        Galfer wave rotors  -- (wheels & rotors) $3,995

Â·        Muzzy Slash Cut 4-2-1 full exhaust system -- $995 (sounds phenomenal!!)

·        Power Commander III -- $250

·        Ivan's X-TRE ('removes' speed limiter) -- $100

·        BusaTunes Sound system (wired for music AND video) -- $699

·        Remote-controlled Lizard Lights -- $350

·        High & low beam Xenon (HID) headlights -- $500

·        Clear Alternatives front and rear LED signal and brake lights

·        Integrated mirrored-LED turn signals -- $100

·        Indiglo 220-MPH speedometer/tachometer gauges -- $50

·        Kool-Fit MP3 holder

·        USB power connection

·      Power connection for Valentine-1 Radar detector (or other detector)

Mapping and dyno has been completed upon installation of PCIII, X-TRE and exhaust system. The engine is completely stock. This bike has been meticulously cared for since I've purchased it, and needs nothing other than a new owner.  If you've ever wanted to own a motorcycle similar to that of a "show-bike", without the added cost of a "show-bike", this is the one for you.  The bike is fast, comfortable and handles great. It has NEVER been down, never stunted, no burn outs. I am devoted to my family and career, and quite honestly, I am not of the age to compromise my well-being by stunting on the bike. She has simply been used for what she was made for, riding!! There are no liens on the bike and I have the TITLE IN HAND. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! Be advised that there are some minor blemishes on the fairings and chrome tank plate cover resulting from normal riding conditions, and when the bike was strapped to my trailer. I have never had any type of mechanical problems with this bike and I am sure the new owner will enjoy it as much as I have. I have invested THOUSANDS of $$$ for O.E.M. installed parts onto the bike to make her the head-turner that she is now. Feel free to check the retail value on KBB for a '08 Busa and you'll see that you're getting a great deal for a bike like this one. In addition to the sale of the bike, I will also include a matching leather racing motorcycle jacket, and an Arai or Shoei matching motorcycle helmet.  Lastly, if you're wondering as to why I am looking to sell, it is to purchase a cruiser for cross-country travel. Other than trading for cash, I will not entertain any other trade offers. Whoever does purchase this bike, will be extremely satisfied. I will assist with shipping if needed. Winner pays for all shipping costs, however I will crate at no cost. **MP3 player not included in sale of bike**

Highest bid WINS!!  Thanks for your interest!

Fri, 14 May 2010

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is the flag-ship sportbike for Suzuki, this video shows how its all put together in Japan.  The 2009 Gixxer liter machine underwent such comprehensive redesign (though it looks remarkably similar to ‘08) that Suzuki refers to the update as “a full model change” which was introduced to us about one-year ago. Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
