For Sale is a 2006 Turbo Hayabusa, making 270 HP at the wheel, at 15 pounds of boost, on 2.5 gallons of 110 octane race gas and 2.5 gallons of 93. It will run 93 octane but I run race gas in it as well just to make sure. It probably would make more HP on 15 pounds of boost if the cams were degreed differently. The internals are billet crower rods with 3/8 HD bolts, 80 thousandths spacer on the head with wossner forged turbo pistons, back cut transmission. Aftermarket undertail, with LED lights. APE head studs, aftermarket shorty levers, also MPS ECU reflash for turbo. Barnett Kevlar clutch with H/D springs, Mr. Turbo intake plenum and piping and header, precision turbo T/3 capable of 500 HP+, Tial blowoff valve, Mr. Turbo wastegate, sport comp boost gauge, aftermarket oil cooler, big ass air filter, power commander 5, Bosch fuel pressure regulator, MPS automatic airshifter with MSD adjustable turn knob to change shift rpm point also has a button on the handle bars to change gears when you want. Also has on board air compressor in the rear pod, when air pressure gets low. Stock wheelbase, strapped front end, adjustable lowering links in the rear. Aftermarket seat, 1 inch handlebar risers and brake pads and chain doesn't have many miles on it. Chrome factory wheels. Polyeurethane cush drives, 65 cc fuel injectors. This bike is in excellent condition. Runs and drives good. It's a blast to drive on the street. Never been to the track. This bike is a driver, I would trust it to take me anywhere. It has 32,775 miles on it, but I can assure you, it was WELL taken care of! The fresh motor has 2,155 miles on it. Basically only rode it on Saturdays! Comes with a Hayabusa bike cover. Michelin pilot power tires with probably 80% tread on the front tire, and 50% on the rear tire. Front shocks were rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago. Bike handles like a dream! A couple minor clear coat scuffs on the tank where I had my tank bag hooked to it. The bike was tuned by Chris Jones of Jones Performance in Chiefland, FL. The tune is pretty much perfect, but could use a little more fuel trim around 3200 rpm to get rid of a slight stumble that a lot of turbo bikes have. Jones could probably make it perfect if you'd like, although the slight stumble never bothered me at all. We will have to discuss test drives. Kevin Schwantz Unveils Suzuki GSX-RR At Motegi

Schwantz, who joined the Suzuki MotoGP test team for its test at Austin in Texas, USA earlier this year, rode the GSX-RR while Uncini demonstrated the GSV-R that last competed in the 2011 MotoGP series. The hyperbike is being discontinued due to non-compliance with the Euro-4 environmental standard, but its story does not end there. The company is clearly preparing its successor, as indicated by the renewal of the Hayabusa trademarks.
Rainy BSB tests are nothing new
Mon, 25 Mar 2013THE combination of bad weather in the UK and a European testing ban means that most BSB teams will now start the season with very little track time. This sounds like a disaster for the top teams but history has proved this isn’t necessarily true and it sometimes doesn’t matter how much pre season preparation has taken place. Back in 2002 Sean Emmett won on the IFC Ducati at the opening Silverstone round after first riding it in unofficial practice the same weekend. Steve Hislop took the other win on Pauls Bird’s well sorted Ducati. More recently in 2009, Leon Camier took an untested new model R1 Yamaha to victory at the Brands Hatch opener after GSE took delivery of the bike just the week before. Sylvain Guintoli won the other race on a well developed, well tested Crescent Suzuki. You could argue if no one has had testing then it is a level playing field but you have to feel for riders moving up to the superbike class in the world’s toughest national series. Tyco Suzuki’s PJ Jacobson is one such rider but having spent some time with him over the past few weeks he seems to be taking it all in his stride. It may be the confidence of youth or maybe the fact he has won in every other class he has entered in his short BSB career, but I suspect he fancies at least standing on the Superbike podium at Brands (He also does a bit of ice racing which is not dissimilar to the this year’s UK testing). The testing ban was implemented with all the best cost cutting intentions and if it had been any other year in the past decade all would be well. The teams may be feeling frustrated but the fans should be excited. With so many unknowns, the 2013 BSB opener at Brands Hatch could be the best ever!
