Suzuki Hayabusa description

Check this out!!!!! 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX-1300R motorcycle. This bike has 29000 miles but is still in VERY good condition. Runs and drives as it should. This motorcycle had some damage on the original fairings and fuel tank from the previous owner. I ordered a BRAND NEW injection molded fairing set and installed it.  Beautiful Blue and Silver color combo, one of my favorite combos. Suzuki's blue is just such an amazing blue!!! This bike has BRAND NEW tires front and back, HID headlight, NEW tail lights with built in LED rear turn signals. BRAND NEW battery, everything works properly. Bike has 4 to 2 to 1 header and pipes. Bike has a great sound, and is VERY FAST. This motorcycle also features adjustable front brake lever, and adjustable clutch lever.  Full service just completed including oil change, air filter cleaning, and BRAND NEW Platinum spark plugs!!!! This is a used motorcycle and has been enjoyed, it is not PERFECT but is in VERY good condition. There are some light scuffs and scratches, but overall you will not be disappointed!!!! I have set a VERY reasonable reserve on this READY to go motorcycle. Check our feedback and bid with CONFIDENCE!!!!! Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping!!! I will help with loading if you need this item shipped. I will not arrange shipping for this item!!!! HAPPY BIDDING!!!!

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.

2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Review – First Ride

Tue, 04 Feb 2020

ADV for Everyman, now with more power and cruise control Credit: Photos by Suzuki and John Burns How can any red-blooded American not love Suzuki, the blue-collar working motorcycle so many of us thrashed as youths, left parked in alleys with no loss of sleep, covered in fur for a brief period there in the (I think) ’90s… In spite of all the abuse we dished out, Suzuki’s loyalty was never in question. 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Editor Score: 88% Engine 18.0/20 Suspension/Handling 13.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 9.0/10 Brakes 8.5/10 Instruments/Controls 4.0/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 9.5/10 Appearance/Quality 8.5/10 Desirability 8.5/10 Value 9.0/10 Overall Score 88/100 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 First Look Of all the GSX-Rs, GSX-Fs, SVs, RMs and TLs that have graced the editorial garage, I think the big V-Strom has emerged as my favorite, even if it wasn’t clear what role the first DL1000 was supposed to play in 2002? Back then, it was all about the GSX-R.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
