Kevin Schwantz Tests Suzuki MotoGP Bike at COTA
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Former World Champion and Texas native Kevin Schwantz joined the Suzuki MotoGP team at Circuit of the Americas to test its new racebike. Schwantz, who won the 1993 500cc World Championship with Suzuki, joined test riders Randy de Puniet and Nobuastu Aoki in riding the new prototype which is set to enter the MotoGP championship in 2015. Our own Troy Siahaan was in Austin for the MotoGP round and he was on hand to film this clip of Schwantz preparing for his ride: Post by Motorcycle.com.
Londoners: free motorcycle wash!
Thu, 18 Oct 2012London-based motorcycle dealer, Motoden, are running a Suzuki test-ride event this weekend and are offering FREE motorcycle cleaning and FREE coffee. Book your slot by calling Tim on 0207 241 6363 and mention Visordown. You'll get yourself a test ride on a gleaming brand-new fancy Suzuki while some poor sod cleans your filthy, dry-chained, bald-tyred, hanging excuse for a motorcycle.
Pedrosa: most wins, least successful
Wed, 11 May 2011Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
