Suzuki GSX-R description

Selling a 2008 Suzuki GSX600RK8. This machine has 4375 miles on it but runs fantastic.
The Kelly Blue Book Value for this machine is over $8500

This machine is the GSX-R of the middleweight class, a product of Suzuki's legendary Integrated Design approach. A machine designed and refined by a team of talented engineers working together to build a motorcycle that delivers Balanced Performance. A revised, compact combination of chassis and engine, fitted with advanced electronics, effective suspension and radial-mount brakes to not only make more power and accelerate harder but also to handle better, with the goal being a quicker lap time around a racetrack. Packaged with exciting new styling and increased lighting and aerodynamics. Ignore the lights and mirrors and the fact that this is also the cleanest-running four-cylinder 600 cubic centimeter motorcycle that Suzuki has ever built, and it's easy to imagine the GSX-R600 rolling directly out of a race shop.

Tue, 18 Dec 2012

Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s  Hottrax Endurance Championship.

2021 Middleweight Naked Spec Sheet Shootout

Tue, 08 Jun 2021

A by-the-numbers look at our six contenders With the Aprilia Tuono 660 and Triumph Trident 660, we’ve got two brand new middleweight nakeds on the market this year, entering what was already a pretty good field with the Honda CB650R, Kawasaki Z650, Suzuki SV650, and the Yamaha MT-07. Obviously, this calls for us to put all six motorcycles together in a shootout. John, Troy and Ryan have been putting these middleweight naked bikes to the test, with Evans taking photos and Sean shooting video in preparing this six-model comparo.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
