Bike was retired from the street re-skinned with lots of extras setup fully as a track bike not street legal. Bike was being ridden in the expert group at track days. I have not had time to use as I had planned only have put 200 miles on since I purchased. I scraped on the right side lost is on the track didn't hit anything just a slide. Brake and shifter levers are brand new due to this slight scuff on fiberglass in two spots on right side!! Tires are virtually new. Runs great and is ready for the next track day . MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule
Tue, 19 Jun 2012MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
Is This the New Suzuki V-Strom 650?
Wed, 01 Jun 2011Suzuki has released a teaser for a new mid-sized adventure bike, likely an updated V-Strom. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.
