Both of these feats are only possible thanks to the on-going and continued support from Suzuki fan, racers, and dealers worldwide. To acknowledge this important milestone, Suzuki brings GSX-R1000 1 Million Commemorative edition for the 2013 model year. This special equipped production model will be limited to 1,985 units worldwide, taken after 1985, when GSX-R series was introduced and completely redefined the definition of a sport bike. 2015 Suzuki RM-Z450 Launches with Holeshot Assist
Fri, 16 May 2014Suzuki revealed the 2015 edition of its RM-Z450 motocrosser with a holeshot assist control and Showa’s pneumatic Separate Function Fork. The Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) offers two different launch modes programmed to improve acceleration. The two modes adjust ignition timing to suit different starting conditions.
Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer
Wed, 20 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.
Bonhams Auctioning “Blur” Guitarist’s Motorcycles For Charity
Mon, 29 Sep 2014Graham Coxon, British musician and lead guitarist for Blur, auctioning off seven of his personal motorcycles with proceeds benefitting NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity.
