Selling because I no longer ride due to repeated military deployments. Bike has been garage kept with a clean title and just passed 1000 miles. Some light scratches on the side but not very noticeable. It has been regularly and recently treated, new rear tire and the bike was originally purchased brand new in 2012. Arai Helmet Sponsoring Upcoming Superbike Shootout Race Weekends
Thu, 01 May 2014Arai Helmet has thrown its proverbial hat in the ring by signing up to sponsor the next two events of the new GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha. In addition, Arai has been named the official helmet of the series. The Arai Pacific Nationals will be hosted by the AFM next weekend, May 3-4, at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.
Intermot 2012: Special Edition Suzuki GSX-R1000 Celebrates 1 Millionth Gixxer
Thu, 04 Oct 2012Suzuki is celebrating the production of the 1 millionth motorcycle in the GSX-R family with a limited edition model. Unveiled at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, the Millionth Edition 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 comes with a commemorative paint scheme, black Brembo brake calipers, pin-striped wheels, gold fork tubes and red fork caps, suspension spring and nose. The top yoke also features a numbered Millionth Edition plate and the key is decorated with Suzuki’s red “R” logo.
Suzuki Reports Q2 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 15 Nov 2011Suzuki reported its second consecutive profitable quarter from its motorcycle division, following 11 consecutive quarters in the red. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011, Suzuki raked in 62.3 billion yen (US$808.5 million) from motorcycle sales, compared to the 61.4 billion yen (US$796.8 billion) reported in the same period last year.
