Wed, 24 Jul 2013A little while ago, Honda revealed a 130mph tractor lawn mower with an engine from a Superhawk. Along a similar vein is the Isle of Man’s Garage Insanity with a mobility scooter equipped with a 600cc inline-four engine from a Suzuki Katana. According to Garage Insanity, the mobility scooter has a theoretical top speed of 140mph given enough running room, though in practice, it’s only been timed at 102.2 mph over a quarter-mile.

Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Tue, 02 Oct 2012Suzuki unveiled a new 1462cc touring cruiser at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. The Intruder C1500T comes with broad windscreen, footboards and ABS plastic saddlebags. The 2013 Suzuki Intruder C1500T is powered by a 1462cc liquid-cooled 54-degree V-Twin engine Suzuki claims is the most powerful engine in the 1000cc-1600cc cruiser class.
