This bike has been my baby for the past two years but I have moved on to a Harley. It is absolutely immaculate! Besides a small crack on the front fairing. It happened at the shop and they wouldn't own up to it. It has 10,399 miles and has been nicely riden the entire time. I am the third owner. It was originally purchased in Indiana, then in Illinois and now Wisconsin. It is the nice pearl and carbon fiber paint job. It has a jardine Gp shorty pipe and a power commander. Has a yoshimura fender eliminator and new front tire and rear tire has 1500 miles on it. Oil was just changed at 10,250. Needs NOTHING, turn the key and ride! 2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.

Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
