The price is unbeatable. The Suzuki Hayabusa (or GSX1300R) is the company's top of the line sport bike motorcycle. It has won global acclaim as the world's fastest motorcycle coming out of the production line, with a top speed of 188 to 194 miles per hour. Hayabusa means peregrine falcon in Japan, it's the fastest hunting bird and this motorcycle is able to replicate the bird's diving speed while it hunts. In addtition to speed, the Hayabusa has won many acolades for its all-around performance. The bike's speed does not compromise handling, comfort, reliability, noise or fuel economy. This bike, the 2009 Hayabusa, is a 2nd Generation Hayabusa, it's a lightly revised version of the 1st Generation, with a minor restyling of bodywork, and fine-tuning of the engine's head, pistons and exhaust. Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.

Is This the New Suzuki V-Strom 650?

Suzuki has released a teaser for a new mid-sized adventure bike, likely an updated V-Strom. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.

Stefan Bradl Signs with NGM Forward for 2015 MotoGP Season

NGM Forward Racing has signed Stefan Bradl to race in the 2015 MotoGP season. Bradl will ride the Forward Yamaha Open class machine next season after spending his entire premier-class career with the LCR Honda team riding the RC213V. “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Stefan Bradl in our team,” says Giovanni Cuzari, Forward Racing team owner.
