2009 Suzuki Gsx-R 1000, Original owner. Excellent condition. Never wrecked. Always garage kept. This bike has been solely maintained by Sunrise Cycle in Norfolk, VA. Only full synthetic oil and 100 octane fuel have been through this engine. Proper break-in was performed. Rare candy dark cherry metallic, black, and aluminum paint scheme. Yoshimura fender eliminator kit w/LED. Zero Gravity black windscreen w/polished aluminum fasteners. Newer Bridgestone tires. Comes with passenger seat, factory windscreen, and like new motorcycle cover. I have babied this bike and its never been over 9500rpm. Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.
Suzuki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Suzuki reported a 13.1% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, but still managed a 17.8% increase in net sales from its motorcycle division. That may seem like a paradox, but the results can be explained by a more favorable exchange rate for the Japanese yen and by looking closer at where those sales decreases took place. The yen has turned around significantly over the last year and a half, vastly improving how foreign sales affect Suzuki’s bottom line.
