Suzuki GSX-R description

Original owner, added blue Puig windscreen, M4 MotoGP slip-on exhaust, sliders, fender eliminator and tank-bra.

Let me start by getting the fact that it has been down on it's right side once. Probably at around 8mph, doesn't make it any better that is was low speed, down is down. Damage the bike still has are small dents/scratches on the right side of gas tank which have been covered with touch up paint and are not visible when the included tank-bra is on. Also has minor scratches on the right front fender. Radiator has small indentation on right side from rubber on inside of fairing pushing into it, no blockage, holes, cracks though. Now that I got that out of the way the bike is still in great condition. Has minimal wear on it, most riding done has been freeway riding. Only services done on bike have been oil changes, 600 miles and one at about 2,500 miles. Other than that only checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Always stored in garage and covered. I know a lot of you are saying it's been down, it's not worth it. Trust me when you see it and ride it you will think otherwise.

Only reason I am selling the bike is because I don't use it like I thought I would. Bought it to go on rides with friends and coworkers, but we all kind of went our own ways and have different schedules now so here I am trying to sell it to someone who can use the bike like it was meant to be used. If I don't get a decent offer I will just hold on to the bike and get out when I can, but I would much rather have someone who's a real bike enthusiast to get it. I have received local offers for up to $6,300 and didn't think twice about saying no, so that should kind of give you an idea of where I am on the price.

I will not pay for shipping of the bike. Shipping is not included. Would prefer to meet in person, but if you want to hire a delivery company that will be up to you.

Thank you and good luck!

Retro Rumble Redux: Kawasaki Z900RS Vs Suzuki Katana

Fri, 28 Feb 2020

Katana Hot Tin Roof Credit: Videos by Sean Matic Lately, it’s like time travel around here. A couple years ago we put the then-new Kawasaki Z900RS up against the Suzuki GSX-S1000 in a slightly apples-to-oranges comparo, Retro or Not(ro), which the Kawi won by a hair. Now that Suzuki has their own retro based upon the GSX-S in the Katana, we felt like we had to do it again.

Parallel-Twin Suzuki V-Strom and SV650 Successors Spied

Thu, 01 Sep 2022

We dare you, Suzuki: call it the P-Strom Credit: Photos by BMH-Images Spy photographers have snapped images of two new Suzuki prototypes powered by a new Parallel-Twin engine. The two motorcycles, an adventure bike and a naked model, appear to be the eventual successors to the V-Strom 650 and SV650, and the culmination of a long development path for Suzuki’s new middleweight twin-cylinder engine. The 645cc engine powering the V-Strom and SV650 has long been one of our favorites, but having only received updates to keep them compliant with emissions standards, the liquid-cooled V-Twin has been getting quite long in the tooth.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
