2008 Suzuki Gsx-R1000 , Up for sale is a used 08 Suzuki GSXR-1000. I am the second owner of this bike. it currently has 9182 miles on it. It has very low miles for an 08. The bike has never been wrecked or downed. The body is in immaculate condition. It is very hard to find a bike in that kind of condition. The bike is valued at a little over $9500 according to NADA with the condition its in. I am taking REASONABLE OFFERS. NO LOW BALLERS PLEASE and ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES. no need for that. It has simple upgrades to it. Nothing crazy. It has an M4 slip on exhaust, K&N drop-in filter, 6000k HID, front LED parking light, chrome frame sliders, swing arm spools, a Taylor Made carbon fiber fender eliminator kit with LED, black tank pad, and a custom wrapped seat to match the paint. The rear tire is new. The front tire will need to be replaced soon. The bike is lowered 2 Inches in the rear. I will also include the rear jack stand. A nicer bloke you couldn't ever wish to meet so it’s good to see him out and about regularly on his Crescent Suzuki prepared GSXR 1000.
Kevin Schwantz Visits Suzuki Headquarters Ahead of Suzuka 8-Hours
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz recently visited Japan to take part in the official test for the 2014 Coca-Cola Zero Suzuka 8-Hours. Schwantz, who last year finished third at Suzuka riding for Team Kagayama, is part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Advance Legend Racing Team and will ride alongside his 1986 Suzuka 8-Hour partner Satoshi Tsujimoto and Suzuki Moto GP test rider Nobuatsu Aoki. Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
