I am reluctantly selling my 2008 Suzuki GSXR 1000. The only reason that I am selling is that I just do not have time to ride it, as you can see by the low miles. The bike has been serviced regularly, The spark plugs are brand new, only rode a few miles since installed, the rear tire only has a couple hundred miles on it, oil was changed at the same time as the rear tire. The bike rides like a charm, should not need any immediate maintenance. The bike has two minor modifications, a fender eliminator kit from GIXXRBOYS, the tag light is blue. And the Bike has a shorty exhaust, I think it sounds great with the shorty exhaust, but I will also include the factory exhaust with the bike (as seen in last picture). The bike does currently have a lien on it, so I will need a few weeks after purchase to get the title, but I am guaranteeing a CLEAN transferable Florida title. Million Dollar Man: Ryan Villopoto Wins Monster Energy Cup
Mon, 17 Oct 2011Ryan Villopoto swept all three main events to win the inaugural Monster Energy Cup and take home the $1 million prize. The 2011 AMA Motocross and Supercross Champion was a favorite going into the Oct.15 Monster Energy Cup at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Villopoto completed the hat trick by winning the Cup and the prize money.
Suzuki Recalls 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman Scooters
Fri, 10 Feb 2012Suzuki issued a recall campaign for its 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman scooters due to a defect in the brake light activation switches. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear brake lights may not activate when the rider squeezes the brake levers of the affected models. As a result, other road users behind the affected unit may not realize it is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Suzuki Developing 1000cc Prototype – MotoGP Return in 2014 Still Possible
Fri, 03 Feb 2012The first MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit is complete, with Ducati, Honda and Yamaha‘s factory and satellite teams, as well as a handful of CRT entries, collecting data for the next stage of their race prototypes’ development. Absent from testing was Suzuki which announced last November it was leaving MotoGP racing. Suzuki cited the recession, the rising value of the Japanese yen and the natural disasters afflicting Japan in 2011 as reasons for leaving MotoGP, but the manufacturer did say it intended to return in 2014.
