This bike is perfect for the trackday rider or racer that wants to take their race bike out on the road occasionally. The bike has full race fairings with custom lights and mirrors that can be easily attached and removed for street use. All standards Aftermarket full Yoshi pipe, adjustable race rear sets, Elka rear shock, fully safety wired, woodcraft case covers and more. Bike runs great and is FAST!! last serviced sept 2012. i haven't even put 100 miles on it this summer and that's why i have decided to sell it. Dropped Suzuki Dealerships Represented Only 2.5% of Retail Sales
Fri, 22 Mar 2013American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.
2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
