Suzuki GSX-R description
2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000, New tires, all stock except Two Brothers slip on exhaust - In 2005 the GSX-R1000 re-wrote the rule book for liter class supersport bikes. For 2006 the flagship GSX-RTM is poised to blow away the competition. Boasting works inspired technology and class leading performance, the biggest GSX-R combines incredible acceleration with razor sharp handling. The newest generation of GSX-R1000 features an engine that produces more horsepower and torque than ever, with quicker acceleration to match - both from a standing start and in roll-on blasts through the gears. It's also been redesigned to shave precious pounds, making it a phenomenal 8.8 to 28.6 pounds lighter than its closest rivals. Its light weight along with completely refined suspension front and rear give the GSX-R1000 the edge needed to Own the Racetrack. To own your piece of the track in 2006, there's only one choice: the GSX-R1000.

Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return
Fri, 18 Nov 2011As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
